Kelly DiNatale, P.E., is the president of DiNatale Water Consultants. He has 30 years experience in managing the water resources and treatment division for the City of Westminster, Colorado, and as a consulting engineer. For the City of Westminster he was involved with the planning, design, construction and operations of the Westminster Reclaimed system. As a Principal at CDM, he was the technical director the Colorado Statewide Water Supply Initiative and the Colorado Inter Basin Compact Process for the Colorado Water Conservation Board and Colorado Department of Natural Resources, and analyzed water reuse opportunities and constraints throughout the state. For DiNatale Water Consultants, he is currently working on projects involving municipal and agricultural water supply planning, development and operations, water rights transfers, reservoir rehabilitation and hydropower, water conservation, reservoir management, water treatment, water reuse, water quality and NEPA permitting.
Mr. DiNatale has been qualified as an expert and testified in Colorado Water Court and at the Colorado Water Quality Control Commission and has developed water supply, water quality, water reuse and reservoir yield models that have been used in court and water quality proceedings. He has a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and is a registered Professional Engineer, Certified Lake Manager, Board Certified Environmental Engineer and Diplomate of Water Resources Engineering. Mr. DiNatale previously served as president of the Colorado Lake and Reservoir Management Association and North American Lake Management Society Region VIII Director.
